The Influence of Various Voltage Quality Disturbances on Windings Temperature of Induction Motor

One of the most frequently appearing power quality disturbances are voltage deviation and waveform voltage distortions that are usually connected with higher harmonics. However, on some powers systems interharmonic and subharmonic voltage components are present, too. They cause additional power losses and an increase in thermal loads of induction machines. This paper deals with an effect of voltage and frequency deviation and subharmonic on heating of low power induction cage machine.References
